Gaeta Handball 1984, ein Team aus Gaeta, Italien, ist ein echter Pionier in der Geschichte des Beachhandballs. Ihr ehemaliger Pr\u00e4sident Franco Schiano geh\u00f6rte zu den Erfindern der Sportart, und 1992 nahmen sie auf der Insel Ponza am ersten Beachhandball-Turnier der Welt teil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aber das Turnier, f\u00fcr das die Mannschaft am besten bekannt ist, ist der Calise-Cup, den sie seit 1989 j\u00e4hrlich ausrichtet. Urspr\u00fcnglich war die Veranstaltung als einmaliges Spiel zwischen den Juniores 1970 und Gaeta Handball 1984 zum Gedenken an den verstorbenen Francesco Calise, einen Freund vieler Spieler, geplant. Im darauffolgenden Jahr, 1990, schlossen sich weitere Mannschaften aus der italienischen Provinz an, und 1999 nahmen schlie\u00dflich 31 Mannschaften an dem Turnier teil, darunter neun aus dem Ausland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In den Jahren 2000 und 2010 wuchs das Turnier weiter und wurde zu einem der wichtigsten Beachhandball-Turniere in Europa. Im Jahr 2020 wurde der Calise Cup, wie so viele andere internationale Sportereignisse, aufgrund der COVID-19-Pandemie abgesagt. Gl\u00fccklicherweise konnte der Calise Cup XXXII dank der Verf\u00fcgbarkeit von Impfstoffen im Jahr 2021 endlich wieder stattfinden. Gaeta '84 gewann sogar in der M\u00e4nnerkategorie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Es gibt bereits Pl\u00e4ne f\u00fcr den Calise Cup 2022, der vom 1. bis 3. Juli stattfinden soll. Zum ersten Mal in der Geschichte des Handballs in Gaeta wird die Veranstaltung in Zusammenarbeit mit der Carducci-Mittelschule organisiert, um den Sch\u00fclern die M\u00f6glichkeit zu geben, Beachhandball auszuprobieren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gaeta Handball 1984 blickt nun mit dem f\u00fcr sie typischen Enthusiasmus und Optimismus in die Zukunft. Pr\u00e4sident Ciano Cosmo sagte: \"Wenn alles wie geplant l\u00e4uft, wird die Hilfe des Impfstoffs uns von Gaeta 1984 neues Leben geben ... mit der M\u00f6glichkeit, den Calise Cup ... (zu) altem Ruhm zur\u00fcckzubringen ... Ich applaudiere diesen Jungs, die trainieren....
