El 15 de enero de 2022, la Direcci\u00f3n de Deportes y la Asociaci\u00f3n Santafesina de Balonmano organizaron un torneo de balonmano de playa abierto al p\u00fablico en el balneario municipal Brigadier L\u00f3pez de Santo Tom\u00e9, provincia de Santa Fe, Argentina. El emocionante y en\u00e9rgico juego fue posible gracias a los equipos masculinos y femeninos de la comunidad local de Santa Fe que participaron. Adem\u00e1s de los aficionados, el torneo recibi\u00f3 la visita de representantes de los clubes de balonmano Alianza, Independiente e IL Peretez. Esta es una clara se\u00f1al del crecimiento del balonmano de playa en Santa Fe.
