The Paranaense Beach Handball Circuit will continue in 2022, with the first matches taking place on January 22nd and 23rd at the Prefeito Gilber Gonzaga Vieira Sports Education Center, in Antonina, Paraná .
The circuit, which is organized by the Paraná Handball League and Government of Paraná, will have six stages, hosted in different cities around the state. The finals will take place in Lindeiros, on November 19th and 20th, 2022.
The 2021 Paranaense Beach Handball Circuit finished in December, with both the men’s and women’s teams from Paranaguá placing first in their respective categories, their sixth consecutive year as gold medalists.
While Paranaguá are the long-reigning champions of the state, they’ll face tough competition during the 2022 Circuit. The 2021 women’s final in particular was incredibly close- Entre Rios do Oeste came within a single point of unseating Paranaguá during a shootout.
The Paranaense Beach Handball Circuit will be longer in 2022 than it was in 2021, meaning fans will have more opportunities to see a match this year than they have since the COVID-19 pandemic began.

1st stage: January 22 and 23 in Antonina
2nd stage: April 2 and 3 in Corredor das Águas
3rd stage: July 2 and 3 in Norte Paranaense
4th stage: August 20 and 21 in Angra Doce
5th stage: November 12 and 13 in Lindeiros
6th stage: November 19 and 20 in Lindeiros
